Osprey

Company History

Established in 1998, OIC parent company, Osprey S.A. Ltd, was conceived as a vehicle to consolidate, manage, and diversify the real estate holdings of its founding Capital Partners, a small group of Midwestern based high net worth families. Led by Michael J. Biber since its inception, Osprey has added to its initial group of Capital Partners and grown seven fold through the acquisition of commercial properties primarily in the Southeastern United States.

Today, Osprey is a full service real estate company that owns and manages approximately 4.1 million square feet of commercial and industrial properties with an estimated fair market value in excess of $800 million dollars.

Osprey specializes in driving returns by identifying and acquiring management intensive, value-add opportunities. As a vertically integrated organization, Osprey takes an active, hands-on approach to every aspect of the real estate investment cycle. This allows Osprey to generate superior returns by acquiring the asset on an attractive basis and then by adding value through its active management.

Osprey Investment Company, LLC ("OIC") was formed in 2005 and is the capital markets and acquisition arm of the Osprey Group of Companies. Led by Michael A. Collins, its mission is to manage the capital structure and investment activities of Osprey. OIC seeks to leverage capital with the experience and expertise of Osprey's operations via optimal debt and equity structures in order to generate above market, risk-adjusted returns.

As demonstrated by our success in assembling Funds I & II, Osprey continues to have access to significant equity from its existing Capital Partners. OIC is pursuing additional investors for the Osprey Debt and Opportunity Fund III, L.P. (the "Fund") in order to lever the success of its Acquisitions and Operations teams to capitalize on the opportunities afforded by the current state of the market and the Legacy Loan Program of the PPIP.
